A Plastic Rose, Milk Music & Holy Mountain, Stag & Dagger, Glasgow 2012

This was my first gig in Glasgow in pretty much a year, and it was rather fitting that Stag & Dagger welcomed my return! Stag & Dagger is a multi venue music festival, that pretty much took over Sauchiehall Street. We were mainly there to see upcoming Northern Irish band, A Plastic Rose (who are touring round England this June and July), American rockers Milk Music and Glasgow's own doom merchants, Holy Mountain. These photos were taken on my wee powershot camera as I couldn't get a photo pass, so while they're not my usual standard, there's definitely some 'rock'n'roll' effects...

The Quireboys & Pat McManus Band, The Fleece, Bristol 23rd April 2012

This was something of a huge gig for me personally - having been trying for about 9 years to see The Quireboys, and to be supported by the legendary Irish guitarist Pat McManus topped it off. I've been wanting to see Pat in action for years too. (Some of you may remember the album I designed to Bat Kinane, 'A Lifetime to Kill', Pat features on a couple of songs).
