Regular readers of this blog may remember a photo shoot I did back in June for Bat Kinane's debut album, based on Bat's song 'The Yellow Moon.' I wanted to finish the idea after seeing the Shadow Catcher exhibition website at the V&A, and the camera less photography. I was particularly inspired by Susan Derges, who directly scans ink falling through water to produce some fantastic surreal images (check her work out here ). Using ink on paper to create psychedelic effects is a favourite technique of mine, so I thought I'd try something abit different. Here's some of the scans I took.
